Dr. Nhung Tran is a residency-trained optometrist who is dedicated to providing high quality optometric care. In addition to comprehensive eye exams, Dr. Tran treats and manages various ocular diseases including but not limited to glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, keratoconus, and dry eye syndrome. She also has extensive experience post-operative co-management for cataract surgery, refractive surgery, pterygium surgery, and strabismus surgery.
Dr. Nhung Tran is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering. She received her doctorate in Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry. Upon which she completed an optometric residency in ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Tran is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
