Dr. Ciampa earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego in 1983, followed by his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1988. During his training, he completed externships at the Denver Outreach Clinic, the Tucson Veterans Administration Hospital, and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles.

He has been in private practice in Downey since 1988, and previously operated satellite offices in Anaheim and Cerritos. His practice is now fully consolidated into a larger Downey location to expand services and improve patient care.

Dr. Ciampa is actively involved in laser vision correction, working closely with laser specialists and managing hundreds of post-procedure patients.
